Zombie media was horribly played out in the late 2000 to 2010's, but I decided to read I am a Hero by Kengo Hanazawa, which I finished a little while ago. It was interesting, a very eccentric take on the zombie apocalypse.

It reminded me a lot of Shaun of the Dead, only with a much worse version of Shaun. It's not just that protagonist is pathetic, he's a massive coward and mildly schizo.
