I've already made that post about my apology for being an idiot but I've done more self reflecting and have more to say.
I think a more concise and accurate description for what I said is that after a certain point I went from just trying to change things a little for anonymity to letting lose my intrusive thoughts. I've always had an impulse to be contrarian. I thought I had it under control and I used to try to use that feeling to debate things and that’s what started me just doing it online, and then it just got out of hand during one of the times my mental health was really bad, I think around covid.
The internet isn't the place it used to be or that I was pretending it still was with doublethink. It's unfortunately merged with wider society at this point, and saying things online affects a lot of people irl; though honestly even back when it wasn't it was shitty to just be essentially a troll.
It has also affected my own life, I drove away one of my best friends because I refused to accept she was trans, idk why the fuck I did so I already had another trans friend who I had no problem with, but I just told her she was wrong, and that it was stupid of her to say she was trans.
I know I made a lot of hateful and or stupid comments on things but the ones that I think came up the most are eugenics and democracy. I think the eugenics thing started

with the contrarian mindset I just started staying yes I supported it and that led to me bringing it up in other places when the term was used. No I don’t actually support eugenics. (I do however still strongly believe that any type of sex predator should never be around kids, their own included)
Democracy was one of those things I mentioned I just took it to an extreme degree, I don’t like democracy and I let out my frustration with its failures in those posts. I do however beelive that it’s the only viable system. The problem is education, because democracy can only work with a well educate populous and the 1% are trying to end that worldwide.
I know there was other things too, but I don’t remember any specific examples, those two were the ones that got the most reaction and that fed into it.

At this point, ROBLOX is straight up gonna remove their own legacy defining features, that made what ROBLOX is, and stirring away to fucking generative AI, that barely resembles anything close to the platform. I barely or even don't play ROBLOX anymore, because of dumbfounded and baffling updates/decisions practically no users asked for.

Every time I think about making a Roblox account so I can play some games in there that interest me, I see the Roblox company do shit that makes me wonder if the higher-ups are on ketamine.

From them banning a YouTuber who actively worked with police to get pedophiles off their platform and arrested and then trying to label it as vigilante action when it clearly wasn't cuz the guy was literally working with law enforcement, to the many condo games that can be easily accessed by their mostly child audience that they barely seem to have done anything to try and stop despite all of the money they have, and so, sooo much more, you guys are going through hell, and that's saying something as someone who's an FNF fan and went through the absolute trainwreck that was being an Undertale and FNAF fan around 2016 to 2018/2019.

Roblox has two very different problems. 1 is what you described. 2 is the grooming problem, Especially since we just got this story of two young girls being rescued after being kidnapped by someone they met on Roblox

I kinda just wish that the FNF community didn't have a good chunk of the people making it up be younger teenagers cuz, my god man, I am reminded about how fucking annoying kids can be.

Like, the biggest example I can think of rn is one that I was there to witness, and it was the utter fucking shitshow r/fnf became for a few days back when the soft mod was released.

I deadass don't think I could go there without there being either someone bitching about the mod and its story or someone bitching about someone bitching about the mod and its story (if anyone is curious, I think the mod is just alright, and the story kinda just reads like something a 14-year-old girl would write as her first Wattpad fanfic; some of the songs were neat ngl).

And god, the number of people who act like toddlers raised by extremely puritan parents when someone makes GF's sprites have proportions that are a little different from the base game is way too fucking high imo (though with some I kinda get it, cuz there are some sprites that have anatomy and proportions that make me want to eat my own hands with how bad they are or are clearly just there to distract from the fact that the mod as a whole is just okay, but that sort of stuff is much rarer now).

The worst part about it is that even in the FNAF and UT/DR communities I haven't seen shit like this, but in the FNF community? That shit is much more common, and I don't know why.

Really wish there was an art site that took a middle ground in what it allows and doesn't allow cuz any time I visit any website to find pictures, it either forbids more than I consider necessary (like Newgrounds not allowing AI generated content, which I praise it for but then doesn't allow SFM or Gmod content) or allows anything which gives you more variety to find but then gets flooded by one thing (DeviantArt with its AI spam)

An ideal site in my opinion would be to allow a good variety of artwork (traditional, digital, sculptures, ragdoll softwares, Photography, 3D design) but takes some measures to ban (or at least blacklist all of) stuff like AI generated content but I guess I'll have to settle which to use each day.

So I pulled one of my leg muscles yesterday when I tried getting up a little too fast, for some fucking reason my right eye suddenly got slightly swollen, and I feel like absolute garbage emotionally.

This week is just not it for me.

The hoops and ladders to navigate the out-of-date pre-digital byzantine bureaucracy of this country is sometimes so god-awfully soul draining. And for what? That I have to file 8 different tax forms because dare I have a side business with my cousin that I didn't even make any income on. How I wish we would just adopt eStonia's system and be done with this perpetual nightmare.

So Youtube updated their recommended video section and this may be their crappiest change yet cause it's pretty much wasted space by how stupidly big they made the thumbnails that anything else like the title and channel name are standing next to a wide section of complete nothing

As for the culture war, I just want it to end already. Come to some kind of resolution or agreement. Don't let either side gets a political monopoly, because it would result from tyranny from above and below. Where possible, agree to disagree, so we can focus on outside enemies. Oppose the ones who benefit the most from our infighting.

Sometimes it's best to take several steps back before analyzing controversies so you don't get sucked into the chaos, where the all contradicts all.

Keeping on topic, the trails to my local mountain have been closed for several weeks because of snow & ice.

That's not why its been closed mind you, its never been a reason, but rather because of the the dozens of idiots who have no business being there have died, and more injured, over last several Winters necessitated the closure. That would be all well and good, but it's completely off limits to everyone under punishment of heavy fine so now my favorite place to practice my snow skills for bigger climbs is gone for the foreseeable future. Given its close proximity to LA, all those tards come here in Winter and decide to go hiking in fucking sneakers and cotton hoodies with their shitty 20$ yaktracks they bought off amazon have now ruined the place for serious climbers.

Just because something is old doesn't mean it's not relevant, the past is a spectre that haunts the future generations.

Mt. San Antonio, or more popularly known, Mt. Baldy. It's part of the San Gabriel Wilderness. I've been coming here for nearly a decade, firstly for recreational hiking to eventually treating the place as a sort training ground where I can practice techniques and snow skills for more ambitious climbs I do later in the year. I frequent here in Winter and early Spring, which works wells for me, I have more free time then and the abundance snow/ice are a necessity to keep my skills sharp.

I'm not so arrogant to call the place mines or anything, but there is unfortunately a large number of novices or straight up idiots who come here in Winter when they really shouldn't. They come in droves, treating the place more like Griffith Park than the snowy 10,000ft mountain that it is. Doing so requires special equipment and know-how, which many do not have.

As a result, there has been an unusually high number of fatalities on the mountain over the last decade. Just last December, there were 3 deaths on a single weekend alone. And that's not even touching the amount of injuries and people needing to be saved by S&R.

There is currently a ban until the 20th of this month, but by then, the snow will have melted too much that certain approaches I like to take are no longer viable.

Expect this to be the norm going forward. Eventually, they'll find some way to apply it to VPNs as well.
