Steam released a trailer for a new unnamed console.

Steam Machine looks adorable, but awfully niche device, might struggle to find an audience. Valve confirms they won't be subsidized and priced similarly to a conventional gaming PC, so it won't be the Value™ brand for gaming I initially believed. Plus the lack of modularity becomes more of a sore spot. I'm mildly tempted to buy one but I see no genuine reason too other than sheer novelty. Had it been a bit sooner, sure, but my desktop and Steam Deck serve me well enough now.

What I am excited about are the Frames, would be an excellent complimentary device not only for VR but also to pair with Steam Deck itself. I'm very tempted with this one.

Steam Controller, looks interesting if a little bit like an ugly duckling of a controller. I kinda regret never having bought an og steam controller, might give the new one a try.
