About

Born a Hero, Tail Lights Out refers to a lyric from the song "Hero" by Skyper, released in November 2017, which was popularized through a meme trend on TikTok in March 2026. In December 2025, TikTokers began using it for video edits. In February 2026, it was used over a viral AI video of Erika Kirk, the widow of Charlie Kirk, freestyle rapping on Off the Radar. In March, the video inspired a trend in which the "born a hero" portion plays over an image of a subject, followed by footage of them twerking, dancing or doing something sus or funny as the lyrics "tail lights out" play, with some examples featuring AI videos of the subject.
